Once again #Kharkiv is already experiencing attacks early this Saturday morning.

It looks as though there are no civilian casualties so far after explosions near the centre of the city in NE #Ukraine.

Shelling occurred in #Kharkiv's Osnovianskyi and Kyivskyi districts, near the centre, shortly after 2am.

The air raid warning there tonight was the 1,000th time the siren has been sounded in #Kharkiv.

#Ukraine's Southern Command was busy Friday.

In addition to well reported bridge attacks, 2 ammunition dumps were hit in ​Chornobaivka + Inzhernerny areas of #Kherson

In addition they claim 24 Russian soldiers died, 2 anti-aircraft guns + 5 pieces of heavy artillery destroyed.

Late last night it emerged that a deputy head of a village in #Kharkiv region was taken away from his home by occupiers with a bag on his head.

Ihor Poznyanskyi had been one of the leaders of Borova, near #Izium

#Zaporozhzhia welcomed in the weekend with sirens and explosions.

Some locals counted 14 blasts in the city. Missiles look to have been fired from the occupied south of the region.

No word on damage or casualties from #Ukraine's authorities yet

#Zaporizhzhia is being targeted as much as #Kharkiv recently.

News just in that attacks y'day killed 5 in #Kamianka. It's possible more are still under the rubble after a 4-storey residential building was hit.

Governor Oleksandr Starukh says 16 missiles hit the city. Infrastructure was damaged in the Shevchenkiv district. No initial reports of injuries.

In occupied #Donetsk very strong explosions in the centre reported right now.

It's the Voroshylovs'kyi district - sounds like HIMARS or other very heavy artillery fire.

Russia's puppets also say #Makiivka #Pastukhivka and the Kyivsky + Kalininsky districts of Donetsk may be hit

#Montenegro, has proved a reliable ally for #Ukraine in the war.

Now a NATO member and strongly in favour of anti-Russian sanctions, the small Balkans country is under cyber-attack from #Russia

Today's chapter comes from #KomsomolskOnAmur over 8,000km east of #Moscow.

Officials say a fuel depot burns and the roof has collapsed.
Mysteriously they also say "paints and varnishes were stored in the warehouse"

Despite the early reports from locals in #Donetsk, the strikes in the city centre don't seem to be anything near as big as #HIMARS strikes.

A few plumes of smoke all that can be seen so far as dawn breaks in east #Ukraine

A fire has broken out, presumably following a missile strike, but this is currently unconfirmed.

The Telegram Channel "Printer Fort" questions how the @iaeaorg can see "no immediate danger" when viewing these pictures of the site in occupied #Enerhodar.

Today's British Intelligence update says that #Russia has "made some progress towards the centre of #Pisky" yet @TheStudyofWar and I both think (remains of) the village has been captured.

Overall though #Ukraine defends very well despite being hugely outnumbered.

The pontoon bridge across the Dnipro river in #Kherson appears to be undamaged despite the latest strikes on the #Antonivskyi bridge.

Maybe Ukraine just biding its time before hitting this one at the last minute to truly frustrate the Russian occupiers.

#Russia has only about 20% of its cruise missiles remaining.

That's the view of #Ukraine's Head of Military Intelligence. Vadym Skibitsky also added "they have no more than 45% of the missiles that were there before the start of the war."

At times @AP has come in for criticism from some #Ukraine watchers for being "too close" to the Russians.

So today's report saying there was no evidence of military among the victims in the #Chaplyne massacre looks credible, leading to more war crimes.

Another "private house" is on fire in #Donetsk.

Remarkably similar to yesterday, far more black smoke and fierce flames than one would imagine for a regular house with regular contents it seems to me. This is in the Kalininskyi district of the occupied city.

#Kharkiv's authorities have spent the day cleaning up the night time damage.

Again S-300s were used - ground to air missiles, impossible to guide these properly, so they land "somewhere fairly near" where they are aimed with a lot of collateral damage.

#Ukraine should soon have MiG-29 fighter aircraft.

Slovakia signed an agreement for fellow NATO neighbours #Poland and #Czechia to patrol its skies.

This allows #Slovakia's stock of Soviet era aircraft to be sent to Ukraine - but Bratislava has indicated it wants some payment.

Another collaborator in #Zaporizhzhia is dead.

Andriy Ryzhkov, Head of Police in the town of Mykhailivka was found hanged - supposedly suicide.

He was previously a border guard with #Ukraine before retiring. After the invasion he offered his services to the invaders.
