Yet again the day started violently for many regions of #Ukraine with overnight missile attacks targeting critical civilian infrastructure, which is itself a war crime...

#Ukraine says it shot down 16 out of 32 missiles. Twelve Kh-22 hypersonic missiles cannot be intercepted with current defences.

It's likely #Russia is using a high % of Kh-22 stocks before Patriot is in place

Missiles were fired by #Russia from long range bombers in the Caspian Sea and Kursk regions, from two Su-35 tactical aircraft in the occupied part of #Zaporizhzhia and from frigate ships in the Black Sea

There is a current nationwide air alert in #Ukraine with more enemy aircraft active. Earlier the Southern Command predicted a high possibility of another missile attack by #Russia.

Ukraine's energy company says there are no restrictions following the overnight strikes.

Most damage may have occurred in #Kremenchuk where it's likely the hydroelectric power plant was hit:

This video shows #Kirovohrad region, where there was also a huge strike on "critical infrastructure" - no further details confirmed.

#Pavlohrad in #Dnipropetrovsk region was also hit, with local industrial enterprises reportedly targeted.

This is from #Zaporizhzhia oblast. #Russia claims it hit an ammunition store. One can also see the use of thermite munitions by the Terrorist State.

Impossible to verify what was hit, no word from #Ukraine side so far.

Here's a video from #Pavlohrad (RU: #Pavlograd) where one woman's now known to have died in the missile attack.

Officials in #Dnipropetrovsk region say 7 private houses were destroyed, 50 others damaged.

In #Lviv, invaders also hit one "critical infrastructure" facility in region

This was confirmed by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi. But he said it was not an energy facility & there were no victims.
"A fire broke out at the place of impact, but it's been extinguished."

Another murder by #Russia today occurred in #Kherson.

A 70-year-old woman was killed in the street as she went about her daily business, shopping.

No photos but locals say another attack on civilians in #Kherson region has killed a couple.

The man and woman died when #Russia directly hit their home with a shall in #Zmiivka village near #Beryslav at dawn.

With nothing significant in the village this is targeting civilians.

Meanwhile diplomatic efforts + visits continue. Two important Foreign Ministers in #Kyiv today

#Canada's Melanie Jolie has already pledged more financial support, says they may join an aviation coalition.

As expected, #Russia's losses passed 140,000 today. 690 more dead in the last 24 hours.

Well now hackers are hitting all #Germany's airport websites.

Remarkable. In the Siberian city of #Tomsk they're forcing students to partake in the delivering of subpoenas for mobilisation.

The invaders claim the craft was trying to land on an island in the river. But the footage is so bizarre I'm surprised they released it; certainly not convincing proof of anything.

Found out who the one civilian freed from Russian captivity today is.

It's Ivan Samoidiuk, Deputy Mayor of #Energodar.
He was kidnapped 11 months ago on 19 March 2022 when #Russia occupied the town and the nuclear reactor.

In #Bakhmut not much change. #Russia's frontline is getting closer. #Ukraine could fall back from the town at any moment but no sign of them needing to do so yet.

No reports of any damage yet. Some Russians reporting their own air defence may have hit their own missile - perhaps one malfunctioned?

No real clarification from #Kharkiv.
It is known S-300s were again fired at the city.

The local governor says "infrastructural objects are once again under the sights of the occupiers."

It's known the Osnovianskyi district, just south of the centre was under heaviest attack.

There's a huge column of Russian trucks moving in the occupied south of #Ukraine.

The former Mayoral adviser to #Mariupol posted these photos. He claims almost the whole 80km between Mariupol and #Berdyansk is solid with these KAMAZ military lorries.

Eplosions reported again in #Druzhkivka in #Donetsk oblast.

No further details yet.

A lot of activity across #Kherson region too.

Shelling in the Tavricheskyi district of Kherson city and also towards #Antonivka.
