I was about to write out this long thread for a video speaking about how the left is tearing itself a part and that tolerance is the best action to take but

My main problem with a lot of these types of talks from all sides, all walks of life, a good amount of online problems
and irl politics is just that EVERYTHING is boiled down so such digestible and easy to think about issue that it really means nothing and is a waste of time

Just being tolerant of everything isn't good, just being intolerant of everything isn't good. And no, you're not going
to find an answer in the middle. The easiest example would be, how do you be center on being a Nazi? I know that sounds weird but really think about it. If there's someone who wants to remove people how do you stay on the center path? Do you just get rid of half the people? Only
get rid of people on tuesdays and thursdays? Like what?

The problem with reducing an issue to "these people are bad"or"this side is good" is that you just remove a lot of context on what's going on. It's why I try to avoid just @ ing people who have done something silly, wrong,
or are just spreading weird information/misinformation because the core of the problem is what you should be dealing with. Being center is not average, no one is average. If the majority of furries are left then that's a different average than the USA's political stances. Being
centrist means you just do whatever is in between at that moment. Which means that if the majority of your environment is left, you're not center, you're in the center of the extreme left and not so left. The spectrum isn't static.

What should be done is NOT complain about
some generalized group. It's talking about the core issues. If someone feels scared of being harrassed or being called a nazi, that's not a silly thing to laugh at or scoff at, that's an actual issue affecting an actual person. There are underlying reasons for those ideas and
it's not "this group is trying to do an evil thing" it's that some event or some information being brought up, pushes people into doing such actions. What those reasons are should be dissected

Some of those people really do deserve to be called a neo-nazi, some people really do
deserve to be called a bigot, some sjws really do crappy things when anyone labeled those things are known to them, but those people aren't trying to be evil (most of the time) They're usually misinformed, a product of their environment (they may be the centrist of their
awful environment), not educated on the subject, or have other goals that those actions align with what they want

If you discuss a problem, try to go past the group because 99.9% of the time that problem isn't new. It's affected different groups at different times. What you
need to solve is the core problem because the group only has a problem because the individuals have problems

Stop directing the problem as being the group. The group can be apart of the problem but it's most likely not the source. If you can find the source then you can fix it
Tolerance of the issue is just not caring about the issue or hoping it goes away if you don't notice it. Sometimes that's a good thing for people to do. Not everyone can solve every problem. That's just not possible

But if you're going to speak on something you should be a bit
informed on the subject or try to do research to become informed. Once you do that you can solve a lot more problems. If you just target a group and don't have anything to say but "don't be like them" or "be like them" then you're not helping. We have airplanes that can travel
the world, we have high speed internet to connect us to millions, we've gone to space, we gone to Mars. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO GO TO MARS! IT'S REALLY HARD TO GO TO MARS

We did all those things by solving one focused problem at a time. The SJWs, Nazis, whoever do not
need to be solved. What needs to be solved and changed is the underlying issues that keep the nazis, sjws, coconuts being put into food because ?????, and anyone else, around. If their problem is solved, then they're no longer a problem because they don't exist

Solve core issues
