Agriculture is the new oil.

The "Osun Broiler Outgrowers Production Scheme" has just made me realise how lucrative is.

Met a farmer under the scheme that makes an average of 300k/pen in 6 weeks. A pen has 2000 chickens, & he has 6 pens. #VisitOsun
Under the "Osun Broiler Outgrowers Production Scheme" the Govt provides a N2m funding, in form of 1 day old chickens (2000/Pen), feeds, immunization materials, & everything needed to grow the chickens for 6weeks.
After 6 weeks, the "off takers" (group of companies) buy off these chickens. The Govt also buys a part for the school feeding programme @NHGSFP.

On the average, a total of N2.3m is made from 2000 chickens, Govt takes the N2m & reinvests.

The farmer gets profit #VisitOsun

From the early 20th century, Venezuela was a prosperous nation. Indeed, it was the world's 10th freest economy.

Oil was discovered in 1922 on the shores of lake Maracaibo. The Venezuelan governments allowed foreigners to extract oil with no conditions till the late 1950s.
In 1959, Juan Pablo Pérez Alfonso, Venezuela's minister for mines and hydrocarbons, founded Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Cairo along with Middle Eastern nations. He believed Venezuela's oil was national patrimony.

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
