DONT PANIC!
😯

But the Brexit “no deal” minister appears to be very interested in gold....

🥇
This is the Register of Members Financial Interests entry for @SteveBakerHW

Notice the entry for under “other sharerholidngs, valued at more than £70,000”

For something called “Glint Pay Ltd”
Steve Baker registered this shareholding (completely properly) on June 22, 2017

The same month he became Parliamentary Under Secretary at DexEU

(A colleague also spotted a brief appearance in a TSC register from Jan 2017 here parliament.uk/documents/comm…)
What is Glint Pay? A company that helps in “protecting you from systemic risk”

Anyone know anyone with a role in of minimising systemic risk?
Here is what Glint Pay say they do.

From a statement dated May 2 2017. Includes section on currency risks for the company.
So a minister in the Department for Exiting the European Union is a shareholder? See “Shareholder 3” from Companies House:
Risk you say. Anyone in government involved in risk management?
Here’s what the Times says about Glint

“Britain has overtaken Germany to become Europe’s biggest buyer of gold”

thetimes.co.uk/article/7121c6…
This is most interesting. An article on the Glint website talks about Brexit

And poses the question “If brexit does prove to be a mistake...” and says that will push the pound down

Here is some of the latest stuff around Brexit and the value of the pound

google.co.uk/search?safe=of…
For crowdsourcing information purposes, here is a link to Glint Pay Ltd. What do these accounts suggest?

beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/095079…
There is, of course, no suggestion of any wrongdoing here. It’s just interesting.
