Okay so I've been modelling the "indicative votes" route in Parliament supported by Rudd, Lidington etc... 1/ To model "every conceivable" option you have to model Labour's; let's call it Norway-minus...
2/ Suppose you ask MPs to pick ONLY their most favoured option. My guess is 60 Tories go for No Deal; 140 for Canada FTA; the rest split 55:60 for Norway Plus and PV...
3/ 10x DUP support Canada; 39 SNP/PC support Norway Plus; 1x Green supports PV; Libdems support PV

1/ I watched the full video of Jeremy Corbyn's speech and the rest of the speeches so you don't have to! Here's what I have concluded (short thread)
2/ I have watched this carefully as, with any accusation of racism, it is important to see the full context. This was at the Britains Legacy in Palestine Conference in Jan 2013. The focus was on the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
3/ The speeches are generally low key, academic in tone. I recommend the speech of the Palestinian Ambassador, Dr Manuel Hassasian. which is from 3 minutes in. He is eloquent and dignified - I don't agree, politically, with every word he says, but it's a good speech...

Thread: I've been thinking of recent discourse that pits cosmopolitan citizens from nowhere against real, authentic, deserving people.
This discourse is mainstream in left and right since Brexit vote.
What is less known is that it has its origin in anti-Semitic tropes 1/
