💥Even though the #Maryland legislature voted to move towards a paper ballot/optical scanner system in 2007, the elections administrator, Linda H. Lamone, fought against this for NINE YEARS!

⚡️News this week about Russian oligarch Vladimir Potanin—who is reportedly very close to Vladimir Putin—is the largest investor in AltPoint Capital Partners, a co. that finances ByteGrid LLC, the software company that services parts of the #Maryland voter registration systems.

⚡️Mary Kiraly also noted that in June the news came out that "an inadvertent programming error" affected 72,000 (but estimated to be 80,000 by the @baltimoresun, 4x as originally announced).

🔥These voters all had to file provisional ballots in the June 26th primary.
