This morning I wrote a blog post on Elad Gil who is, among many other things, the author of a new book entitled: “High Growth Handbook.” The post on Gil will appear next weekend. Today's blog post was on Jim O’Shaughnessy, who was and is a pioneer in quantitative investing.
I've been waiting to do a post on Gil since I try to support any author who writes an investing or business book. “To write what is worth publishing, to find honest people to publish it, and get sensible people to read it, are the three great difficulties in being an author.”
I plan to write something on Michael Batnick's new book as well as books from Scott Belsky and Howard Marks. Author's of these books should stick together and be mutually supportive. If you have never published a book it is unlikely you know how much work is involved in doing so.
