Listen, I was raised by a tractor and a prairie dog, so I know heartland voters. And heartland voters only want two things: 1) daily worrying about their basic human needs; and 2) eight-figure quarterly bonus checks for default swap hedge fund CEOs.
At breakfast this morning my 4 year old son Slarrence asked me “dad, if we make college affordable using public funds, how will we keep paying the mustache men who hunt down single mothers in emergency rooms?” and I didn’t know what to tell him. 😢
