1/ People complain about the lack of great series B deals in France and Europe.

The main reason is that many series A teams are nurtured with...

Poor empowerment,
Small ambitions,
Too little capital

Or

Wrong empowerment,
Misplaced goals,
Ineficient capital

2/ And we don't have the critical quantitative mass in Europe to absorb this qualitative gap.

We shall believe and nurture with passion and hard work truly ambitious, highly yet efficiently capitalized talented & diverse teams.

3/ As part of the entrepreneurs' surroundings, our words and actions reflect our mindset and affect them with compounded effects overtime.

There is nothing more important than empathy, trust, and commitment towards them.

4/ As much as possible, even though our role isn't to operate within our portfolio companies, we shall always bring into the room

clairvoyant optimism,
positive honesty and
fearless opinions.

5/ I find it hard to pro-actively and consistently help entrepreneurs in a disciplined way, it's humbling and reminds me that every day is a new occasion to learn how to become a better investor towards the people we back.

Europe is leveling up, but still a long road ahead...
