Some seriously problematic and persistently racist reactions in Israel to the Jewish Nation-State Bill: (a thread)
People who speak out against the law because it's biased against the Druze community in particular, and not because it’s a discriminatory law in general. This argument only serves to reify the racial hierarchy in Israel.
People who stand in solidarity with the Druze community because they serve in the military, and not because they are humans who deserve equal rights.
