The INEC website does not have https enabled. All the asset load from the same origin - no CDN. Entire home page will set you back by at least 20MB. 108 network request to render the home page. No one thought it wise to put JS together and minify it. Same thing with CSS.
How can you, in 2018 and in good faith, serve a 5MB image. How? Isn't this wickedness? For a country where data is still not cheap. If you had paid N1,000 approximately $3 for a 1GB data, you would have spent about 2% of it just to access the home page of INEC.
For goodness sake, https is free today. Like FREE. @letsencrypt will give you free SSL. @Cloudflare will give you free SSL. Why not just use it?
Plus no effort in even customizing the @WordPress theme. They just used the plain stuff. I'm not even sure this thing can survive a DDoS.
