There are 2 schools of thought on Twitter:

1- Those who believe that Ego is the enemy
2- Those who believe that Ego is your best friend.

I subscribe to neither.
Ego is not your enemy, and it's not your best friend, it's just a tool
You could either wield it, or let it control u
Some people are too Ego driven, becoming unbearable assholes that nobody can stand.
The other side of the coin is those who are spineless morons who can't make a proper decision.

The key to successfully controlling the Ego is awareness.
Be aware when it tries to take command.
When your Ego is taking over, you usually make the decision that is the opposite of "appearing weak".

"Weakness" is what your Ego tries to prevent, which is good, but sometimes is ineffective.

Make your decisions about logic and what is better for the long term. Not Emotions.
