If you want to decrease corporate censorship you have to decrease corporate power
If you want to decrease corporate censorship you have to decrease corporate power
If you want to decrease corporate power you have to enact legislation to that effect.
If you want to enact legislation to that effect you have to elect a lot of anticorporate people.
If you want to elect a lot of anticorporate people you have to have more political capital than procorporate people
If you want to have more political capital than anticorporate people you have to have a stronger narrative.
If you want to have a stronger narrative YOU CANNOT FIGHT FOR THE PLATFORMS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE CONSTANTLY, ACTIVELY AND GLEEFULLY FIGHTING TO DEPRIVE YOU OF YOUR OWN.
If you fight for the platforms of people who are constantly, actively, and gleefully trying to deprive you of your own, you will strengthen the narrative that their speech is the only speech under threat.
If you strengthen the narrative that their speech is the only speech under threat, procorporate speech will continue to be amplified while anticorporate speech will continue to be marginalized.
If procorporate speech continues to be amplified while anticorporate speech continues to be marginalized, the procorporate narratives will prevail.
If the procorporate narratives prevail, procorporate forces will have more political capital than anticorporate forces.
If procorporate forces have more political capital than anticorporate forces, a lot more procorporate people are going to be elected.
If a lot more procorporate people are elected, they will enact more legislation to that effect.
If they enact more legislation to that effect, corporate power will increase.
If corporate power increases, corporate censorship of anticorporate speech will increase.
If corporate censorship of anticorporate speech increases, procorporate narratives become even stronger relative to anticorporate narratives and the whole cycle repeats.
If the whole cycle repeats enough times, procorporate forces will become powerful enough to make anticorporate speech illegal.
If procorporate forces become powerful enough to make anticorporate speech illegal, free speech will cease to exist at all.
If free speech ceases to exist at all, everything you're fighting for will be dead forever.
