THREAD // What Does It Mean to "Sell Money At a Discount?"

You may have heard this phrase before, especially when it comes to online courses

And you might find it a little confusing, so let me explain...
Every purchase has a cost/price/fee associated with it

You spend your money on something and get something in return

Maybe that thing is food, clothes or gas for your car

Whatever it is, you've spent that money and now that money is gone
But in the case of books, courses or coaching, it's different

We're not talking about EXPENSES like an iPhone, a watch or concert tickets

We're talking about INVESTMENTS

So it's important to understand whether the money you SPEND is going to help you make even MORE money
Here are two types of people to illustrate the point:

- One will see a $500 course as an EXPENSE

- One will see a $500 course as an INVESTMENT

So which one are you?
Let's get even more specific...

Let's say you buy @KyleTrouble's updated course on building niche sites to create semi-passive income

And let's say you use the one-time payment option and buy the course for $397

Is that an investment or expense?
Well it's an expense if you never build a niche site

It's just money down the drain

But it's an investment if you use the course to help you build profitable niche sites

And this is where "selling money at a discount" come in
Let's assume you build 3 niche sites over the next 12 months and they make an average of $500 a month each

Not spectacular, but not terrible either

That's $1,500 a month or so in pure profit

Annualized, that's $18K a year

And if you hold onto them, that's $180K over 10 yrs
So you've made $180,000 over the next 10 years

But how much did it cost you to make that money?

It cost you $397 (the cost of the course)

So you made like 453x off your one-time investment

And that's just over 10 years
You can hold onto your niche sites much longer

You can sell them

You can scale them with automation and VAs

The point is, ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE LONG GAME

Especially when investing in yourself, your skills and your business
If you've ever looked at education and wondered "Is it worth?" run the numbers

There's always the cost of:

- Doing it yourself
- Doing it with someone
- Paying someone to do it for you

Courses help you DIY, but often offer extra coaching (like Pro Niche Site)
This helps you save time, energy and money (on costly mistakes)

And it accelerates your learning curve

That's why I'm using Pro Niche Site to build my 1st niche site

It shows you what to do step by step

And eventually I'll have a portfolio of sites
So if you haven't made a single dollar online or just want to build extra income streams like me, check out PNS

The investment should make you thousands of dollars over many years through a legit business model
