tbh my favorite/most hated example of this is is in Trainwreck: Assigned a story on a topic she knows nothing about and doesn't bother to research, gets drunk and sleeps with the subject, gets fired, enters relationship with subject, gets article published in VANITY FAIR anyway.
But I mean, under appreciated/hated scene in Sharper Objects is her sitting at a funeral taking notes and one of the notes inexplicably being "Who's the Jackie O?" because you'd write that down I guess instead of like...describing the scene or a quote from the mother's eulogy.
Anyway I'm muting this conversation because, damn, some of these reactions are just really stupid.
