Im not sure why the two scenarios are equivalent. McSally’s opponent was not actively managing his own election and polling locations in Arizona didn’t have near the problems those in Georgia did.
No one was praising McSally for simply walking away. People praised her for not inventing problems to be mad about - even if you disagree with the severity of problems in Georgia it is undeniable that they were present.
Just the idea that McSally would’ve stood down if Sinema was in charge of the election or if there were five hour lines in Republican strongholds coupled with massive machine failure and ongoing lawsuits is...not credible.
