IMPORTANT: Cohen is not pleading guilty to the taxi medallion stuff (at least not yet).

He's pleading guilty to orchestrating illegal hush money payments to women who allege they had affairs with Trump

Don't put too much stock in the idea that there is no "cooperation deal"

The guilty plea will include an agreed upon statement of facts. Those facts could (or could not) implicate Trump.
It's the campaign finance stuff to keep an eye on

If Cohen pleads guilty to a campaign finance violation involving the payment(s) to Daniels and/or McDougal and agrees to a statement of facts that he discussed the payments with Trump it doesn't matter whether he is formally "cooperating" or not.

Some initial thoughts on the Mueller/Cohen memo, it is irrelevant that another Russian reached out to him about getting a Trump Moscow Tower built when he was already working with Russians to try to get it built, also that's not illegal. Also he turned him down lol. Weak stuff

2. The gist is that the Trump Campaign used the Foundation – supposedly a charity – as its campaign slush fund and to enrich the Trump Org. This is a no-no, because charities are tax exempt, since the idea is that they are being, you know, charitable.
3. Weiselberg, along with Trump and the Trump kids, are on the board of the Foundation (though Weiselberg testified in a deposition that he had no idea he was on the board, since it never met). But he signed the tax forms, and knows how the money was spent.
