Porto Montenegro is a naval port for yachts / superyachts in Montenegro. People such as Lord Jacob Rothschild, Bernard Arnault and Peter Munk have been known to dock at this port.

It was acquired in 2016 by the Investment Corporation of Dubai.

Porto Montenegro's marina is large enough to berth Roman Abramovich's yacht, Eclipse.

Oleg Deripaska's superyacht, Queen K, was also as a regular at Porto.

Porto Montenegro, back in October 2008, was just a project, with Oliver Corlette acting as managing director of it. Nat Rothschild and Oleg Deripaska were minority shareholders in the project.

Oliver Corlette eventually sold Porto Montenegro to the Investment Corporation of Dubai, as mentioned, in 2016.

Corlette now runs an organisation known as Black Mountain Partners.

Corlette also has a history at both Goldman Sachs and Onex Corporation.

Back in October 2008, Peter Mandelson - a friend of Oleg Deripaska's - signed a bilateral trade agreement with Montenegro.

Interestingly, Deripaska was the single largest private employer in Montenegro and responsible for half of its economic output.

Peter Munk was advised to invest in Montenegro by the Rothschild family, which led to Oleg Deripaska calling Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic, which led to negotiations over an ex-Yugoslav naval base, and then it was bought by TriGranit.

As noted in the article, TriGranit was co-owned by Nat Rothschild and Peter Munk.

Also, Munk was on the international advisory board of Rusal, while Nat was on the board at Barrick Gold. And Nat's JNR firm advised Deripaska.

And Munk invested in Nat's Atticus hedge fund.
Another investor into Porto Montenegro is Sandor Demjan, a Hungarian real estate developer.

When Nat Rothschild threw his 40th birthday party at Porto Montenegro, potential attendees included Oleg Deripaska, Roman Abramovich, Peter Munk, Mick Davis, Ivan Glasenberg (Glencore) and Tony Hayward.

Peter Munk (who owned the yacht Golden Eagle) formed the organisation Adriatic Marinas, with Lord Jacob Rothschild, Nat Rothschild, Bernard Arnault, Oleg Deripaska, Sandor Demjan and Anthony Munk as investors.

According to Bloomberg, the current key executives for Adriatic Marinas are Oliver Corlette (Managing Director) and Colin Kingsmill (Sales and Marketing Director).
