No better place to start my Dark Angel thread than with Ben...

Jensen was so good in this role that they cast him for a season regular...

Even in the first episode he did...

He was shirtless a lot for this show.

Ben was a little crazy though.

Actually a little like the Benders... minus the jaw bone wind chimes.

Literally kidnap, set free, hunt and kill.

At least he had the excuse of animal DNA.

And then... kidnap another.

A priest out of the confessional to be specific.

But in the face of being caught...

He is just scared.

But then!

We get to meet Alec. And yet again Jensen is shirtless.

He also sleeps the same way Dean does...

His reaction to “you should have a name too”...

But, he is a fan of her choice.

A natural flirt...

Did I mention he is shirtless a lot?

Shoulder. Bicep. Holy wow. 🔥

Shoulders. Chest. Back. 🔥

He is flinging popcorn and the X-7 kid. Cracks me me every time.

Cage fight... because what else would a genetically engineered soldier do with his free time.

Also, hint of tongue.

I don’t like to be a tease.

So, tongue and mug.

I want to see a Dean vs Alec pool game.

Which required both dress shirts...

And pool time.

It also required piano playing.

Which Jensen learned well enough that they didn’t have to use the hand double.

And she fell asleep on his couch.

He not only lets her sleep...

He gently takes off her shoes, makes sure she’s comfortable...

The way his hand gently runs over her shoulder and down her back....

Imagine him looking at you like this...

Except he didn’t do as well against Max...

But, to be fair... she broke the below the belt rule.

First, he said “why don’t you come help”.

He was a little surprised by he response...

But then... friends.

Ok, technically he was using Joshua for money here...

But...

They both had some fun.

Look he’s helping!

They had movie nights...

Joshua met a blind girl that wanted to know what he looked like...

But because he didn’t want to scare her...

Alec helped him out.

Including himself in Max and Joshua’s nicknames...

One of the saddest moments.

That girl Joshua liked was killed...

But they’re there to comfort him.

And because I can’t end on a sad...
