Was looking into a way to let you @-mention @lasertweets in response to a tweet and have it auto-generate the URL for you...but everything I'm reading says that's against Twitter TOS.
I *think* I'd have to build a whole system where you have to grant permission to a "Laser Tweets" app, and then monitor your account for "@lasertweets" mentions from you and then basically DM you the URL.
Regardless, it's wayyyy more hassle than I imagined it'd be.

This almost feels like something where there some be a hosted service that already handles most of this.

I tried Zapier, but no go (thanks to the Twitter TOS).

1/ Understanding why customers cancel may be one of the most frustrating parts of building a company.

Asking users during the cancellation process why they're cancelling can be really useful, but data is only as useful as the action you take on it.
2/ Lots of SaaS companies have a simple form on their cancellation page that asks the users why they're cancelling...but almost nobody does anything with the data.

It may get piped in to a spreadsheet somewhere or sent to someone's inbox, but then it just fades away.
3/ In addition, even if you're collecting reasons, knowing which reasons to pay attention to is many times nearly impossible.

Sure, maybe most people are cancelling b/c "It's too expensive", but is that actually who's causing the most lost revenue?

For nearly 5 years Baremetrics has relied almost exclusively on a single channel for growth: content marketing. It was a natural outpouring of us targeting "founders". It was easy and in the early days, it worked well, bringing us to where we are today.
But these aren't early days anymore. We're a profitable, five year old company doing over $1M in revenue. We're "old" in startup years and intend to get even older. While we're not a brand new company anymore, our growth methodologies and systems are still in their infancy.

I've been trying to figure out why Twitter is less fun for me than it was just a few years ago and after looking through my follow list, I think I have the answers.
1. A lot of people I used to follow and interact with are gone or I guess blocked me or some combination, I'm too lazy to make a deep dive, so I'm gonna assume more of the latter than the former.
2. I'm way down on active Mom Follows: Women about ten years in either direction from me with kids and a cheerily cynical view of the world. I work a mix of from home and at the office (and in a courtroom and in conference rooms and...) and they resonated.

These past 2 weeks have been rough re: my #CPTSD . Unless you suffer from #PTSD or #CPTSD it's difficult to understand how thoroughly it disrupts your life and invades your mind. It's not just the nightmares, anxiety, and irritability...it's the random thoughts, the unwanted ..
flashbacks, hypervigilence, feelings of impending doom, catastrophising...it's a sudden smell that reminds you of terror, a random memory that leads to other memories, the constant fight between who you want to be, who you are, and who you were.
For me, the past 2 wks have been riddled with nightmares and unwanted / unbidden flashbacks and memories. I just want to be the confidant, carefree, optimistic, brave individual I used to be. I just wish I could peel off this constant terror like one peels off a coat.

It is no surprise Twitter targets accounts for “wrong think” or as we on the #Right like to call it “free-think” this is because of two events which are now totally and utterly inextricably linked, #Brexit and #Trump and the Establishment have been rocked to the core. 2/15
