I have the program from another funeral at which Kissinger spoke. It was for Thomas Enders, a Reagan official who headed the cover-up of the 1981 El Mozote massacre in El Salvador, in which our allies slaughtered about 1,000 civilians. tinyrevolution.com/mt/archives/00…
Here you see Kissinger delivered an "appreciation" of Thomas Enders at his funeral. In addition to leading the El Mozote cover-up, Enders helped direct Nixon's bombing of Cambodia, which killed hundreds of thousands and set the stage for the Khmer Rouge. tinyrevolution.com/mt/archives/00…
As @MollieOReilly points out, you can see at the bottom of this page that after Kissinger spoke at the funeral of his fellow war criminal Thomas Enders, the service concluded with everyone singing The Star-Spangled Banner.

In March 1990, Saddam Hussein personally ordered the execution of Farzad Bazoft, a reporter for the UK Observer. A month later Sen. Alan Simpson had a chummy meeting with Saddam and commiserated with him about journalists, calling them "spoiled and conceited" and "bastards."
Even worse than Alan Simpson's actions: Before Bazoft was executed, conservative MP Terry Dicks said he "deserves to be hanged." Lord Wyatt said the UK should “start maximising trade and stop talking about Farzad Bazoft."
After Bazoft was murdered by Saddam Hussein, there were internal discussions in Thatcher's government about whether to sanction Iraq. They decided no, because “We have a considerable commercial presence to protect in Iraq" and it "would be bad for our wider commercial interests"

Another #Maidan massacre bombshell: Yanukovych lawyer says that Yanukovych trial judge has refused to hear testimony & other evidence by pro-Maidan #Ukraine parliament deputy that Maidan leaders organized groups of snipers to shoot police & protesters
and that one sniper was captured by #Maidan protesters but was released by Maidan leaders. This deputy (Artemenko) was one of Right Sector leaders in Spring 2014, now lives in US and reportedly gave such testimony about Maidan massacre to the US grand jury in #Russiagate case.
In contrast, there is not single public testimony by ex-Yanukovych associates, police & SBU commanders/servicemen about order by Yanukovych or other government officials/commanders to massacre protesters, organizing or covering up snipers, or confessions about shooting protesters

1. This @DouthatNYT column tries to do something valuable (distinguish between reasonable anti-abortion case & Williamsonian bloodthirsty desire for retribution) but it's far too short & raises more questions than it answers.
2. I'd like to see @DouthatNYT write a full magazine length piece spelling out what sort of legal regime he'd like to achieve his goal of no abortions without substantially curtailing existing civil rights.
3. It's true, as Douthat points out, that in the pre-Roe v. Wade world, women who had abortions were almost never punished (as Williamson wants) like murderer. Williamson's position is not at all conservative but genuinely radical.
