Progress report on startup 1 of 12, launching at the end of this month...
It's a free and open source platform that will hopefully be useful to some folks. But this also adds an extra layer of cognitive load while I build it, to ensure that it's configurable enough to be useful out of the box...
I've been building it while also packing up my house in Singapore to get ready for travel / nomad life again, so I've tried to keep the scope manageable given this context!
I'm used to working in sprints and assigning points to stories, but this time I thought I would keep it flexible and just use a simple kanban board. Not sure that was the right choice - I'll probably switch to a scrum board for next month's startup.
It's dawning on me that I'll need at least 25% of the month just to write the docs and do the marketing site properly - so actually I really only have just over a week left to get the bulk of the app wrapped up!
