Here I explain all Indian politics with single spoon - fork.
Many people, including me, use a Cartesian X-Y graph to explain Indian political spectrum. As a RF engineer, it struck me that the polar (r, θ) coordinate system offers a useful way to characterise Indian politics. With a piece of cutlery for illustrative purposes.
Some people don’t want to overturn the social order. Some want to invert it. Some want to equalise it. All Indian politics boils down to one of the three models.
Let this be known as the Spoon Fork Model of Indian Politics.
Here’s the Spoon Fork Model of Indian Politics, with labels. Persisters - who want to preserve traditional social order
Equalisers - who want social equality
Inverters - who want to invert the hierarchy
Quite a few persisters and inverters hide their real agenda under the pretence of being equalisers.
(Dear hardcore wonks: Yes, the spoon fork model considers only the θ. We can have a lot more wonkish fun by playing around with the magnitude of the change “r”. But the chart will scare off decent, peace-living citizens)
