I haven't talked a whole ton about #BattleForAzeroth (partly because I moved across the country and that has consumed a lot of my time) but I did want to talk about it today.

This is gonna be a bit of tweet chain so I hope you guys will listen and stick around.
BfA has problems, but it certainly isn't the death of the game, or anything made with malicious intent.

The issues are relatively easy fixes (from a design stand point) So let's break down what I think is wrong with BfA and how @WarcraftDevs might fix them.
Also before I start this list, I've been logging in like every day. On monday night I stayed up till 3AM getting my +10 done for Mythic +. I'm very much enjoying BfA. I just know it can be better.
The problems BfA are facing IMO are a lack of tuning with Azerite Traits, Lack of acquisition of Azerite, Heart of Azerite levels for traits being tuned too high, and Sockets being worth too many item levels.
1.) Azerite Traits Tuning.

This is a simple one. The Azerite system has plenty of cool traits for specs. Things like Winter's Reach for Frost Mages or Seismic Wave for Arms Warriors create interesting and cool gameplay changes for specs.
That being said a lot of them are under tuned, so the generic ones are the best, and ignores what could have cool impacts upon the class.

This fix is really simple, we just tune the spec specific ones to be better in most situations than the generic ones.
Sometimes a generic trait should trump a spec specific trait (IE Raid traits in the raid, or a spec trait that has 0 AoE in an AoE scenario), but for the most part I believe the system should lean more towards spec specific traits in terms of power.

Easy fix, just tune them.
2.) Lack of Acquisition of Azerite Pieces.

The biggest problem with this system IMO, is the lack of ability to obtain higher level pieces for the common player. I jokingly tweeted on Tuesday with a 395 gloves I got that, "It's better to be Lucky, than to be good".
Sadly that's the case with Azerite gear. Did your Mythic + Chest have a piece of high level Azerite in it? Nope? Do you do Heroic/Mythic raiding? Nope? Sucks to be you!

Since Azerite is a huge system, it needs to be obtainable (reasonably) and scale with almost every activity.
There are really two easy remedies for this. The first is to allow Azerite pieces to drop from Mythic +.

The second is to change the Mythic + Cache. Allow for two pieces of loot to come from the cache each week. One Azerite, and one of any other item.
There should probably be a way for also PVPers to get better pieces, I just have no idea how any of the Azerite abilities impact or affect PVP, so I'm gonna stay in my lane over here in PVE land.

Allow these to drop more areas, or at least an assured drop each week.
3.) Heart of Azeroth levels tuned too high.

This was kind of a weird issue that happened to me a couple of times this past month. I get a new piece of Azerite armor, and I can't equip it because I haven't leveled up my Heart of Azeroth enough. Awkward.
This is easily solved by just time, and eventually you'll be able to level it quickly with each week that passes, so not changes really need to be made to the game this very second.

However for future patches, this most certainly needs to be considered.
A simple change would be to simply remove the required level, but than that devalues the system as a whole.

Perhaps adding additional benefits to traits if your HoA is a better system for the future. Like, "if your HoA is level X it deals Y% more damage".
4.) Sockets are worth too many iLevels.

This has happened before. It happened in Legion, and I believe it also happened in WoD (I don't know I can't remember.). Solution is real easy. Just nerf gems a bit, bring the benefit of a socket back in line with WF/TF.
And that's really it. None of these are super hard changes (Outside of the Azerite Trait tuning) from a design stand point, and could be made in the next few weeks.

I didn't touch on Warfronts or Reputations, but I'm kind of Ok (not in love) with how both of these worked out.
Warfronts should probably be on a faster cycle (I'm almost postive about this change), but their rewards should be a once a cycle thing, and a catch up for alts. I'm ok with that.
For reputation, it's really simple. Do the WQs like you did in Legion. Your alts are just that. Alternative characters. They're not Main 2, 3 and 4 (Unless you're like Method, than thats' you playing too much IMO).
Your alt doesn't need to be as geared, or as progressed as your main character. If they do, than that character is probably your main, or you're in a guild aiming for World Firsts and by then you should have known what you signed up for.
It's ok. Eventually you'll reach a point where you don't need to do WQs on your main, or you'll care more about getting your alt catched up and focus on that character.
#BattleForAzeroth has problems, but they're fixable problems that I know Blizzard will fix (they always do).

I understand that it sucks or you feel betrayed, trust me I've been there too many times. I've been playing this game for almost 13 years now.
The best part about this though. Is if you don't wana sit through this low you don't have to. You can cancel your subscription, go play another game. Go binge some Netflix.

Azeroth will be here when you get back. I promise.
But I'll still be here. As I said earlier, I'm having a ton of fun with #BattleForAzeroth . I'm enjoying my Warrior, I'm slowly leveling alts, and I haven't even cleared normal raid because of my move across the country.

But that's it. That's my rant. Thanks for sticking it out
