The clip on @maddow of Anita Hill talking about how the most difficult part of her congressional testimony was for her elderly parents to hear it brought me to tears. Her bravery never fails to amaze me. How wonderful to see that so many of her family members came to support her.
Almost thirty years later, some of the same condescending, misogynistic men who attacked Professor Anita Hill are still in congress and are doing the exact same thing to Professor Christine Blasey Ford. This time, we cannot let them win. #StopKavanaugh
Thank you showing this, @maddow, and for reminding us of Anita HIll's bravery and her pain but also – sadly – that we are right back here again.
