Going. To me, the mistake I made (before meeting y'all) was not talking about it. Not sharing the torment. Slapping the smile on & pretending I was ok. Then I realized all I did was pretend. My whole life was me not wanting to inconvenience someone else's feelings bc mine were/2
So dark. After another very traumatic experience in 4/13, I promised myself in the hospital not to pretend anymore. I realized it's ok to not be ok. I gave myself permission to own what I've been through, hoping, along the way, others could do the same. /3
