Here’s something I’ve been working on in Shortcuts. From a master gear list (I keep it in @BearNotesApp), choose which items you need for a shoot, and a checklist project is created in @culturedcode Things. 
You pick a project name and a prep date. Items with (prep) get added to a special Prep list with the prep date as their due date.
The catch, for now, is that it has a lot of dependencies. @BearNotesApp holds the master list, it only works with Things, and it requires @draftsapp 5 and the amazing 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗿 action from @pdavisonreiber.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to share this Shortcut and the others I'm working on, but ones like this that require multiple things installed in multiple apps (4 apps for this one!) are a bit of a challenge.
By the way, I used a Shortcut to create the row of screenshots too!
