Imagine you'e hanging out with a friend. Suddenly, he asks if he can borrow $1,000 from you, what would you most likely say? Most likely you would say NO, because you're a busy person with responsibilites
You wont be able to lend him $1,000
Now, instead of asking for $1K, he says "Instead of loaning me $1,000, would you be able to lend me JUST $100?" You say " Well, sure, I can do that, that wont hurt 😃"
SHOOT HIGH, meet in the middle
That's Domenick Deal Making
1.Request a ridicuously unreasnable amount of money for a raise or loan
( if you make $10/Hr, but you want $14/hr, Ask for $20! )
2. When they say NO to HIGH amount, say OK, i understand, lets lower that & meet somewhere more reasonable in the middle
Plus, when they agree to meet in the middle ( your actual desired amount ), You win too. BOOM
Let's move onto #2
This method is a bit different, but still Will lead to the desired outcome you seek
Imagine you're hanging with a friend this afternoon. Your friend asks if he can borrow your Pen, you say "Yes, of course."
Then, Your friend the asks to use your phone
after making the phone call, your friend thanks you & asks if he can borrow $20 from you to grab some food. You being the good friend YOU are, you say " Yeah bro, of course!"
What happened?
This is why Sales calls ask silly, easy questions in the beginning of a phone call
1. Begin by asking small questions that Will generate a easy YES response from the person you want something from
2.After get TWO YES responses, Pitch your third question enthusiastically, with a smile & Receive the 3rd YES
First requests must be small, Easy YES
It's SIMPLE, YOU have something that the other person wants! This method could apply to EVERY aspect of your Life, Think about it.
