Remember what I've said the purpose of the slow roll out is? To get the conspirators on the record under oath telling their lies, reveal a little evidence & force them to change their stories. It then requires them to produce evidence (like McCabe's memos) to back their new lies.
Each round of sunlight, causes another alibi to be destroyed. And so far, the conspirators have been forced to reveal new incriminating evidence first to try & get their spin out first. They can't wait for the declassifications, the unredactions, they have to confess & spin.
Rosenstein knew someone was already conducting surveillance on the White House when he joked about it to McCabe. Did McCabe try to use it to justify the spying he was already doing? Did he use it to expand the @CarterWPage FISA? Assuming RR was on his side?
Or did he think he could blackmail RR, saying the bugged the White House because RR suggested that he do it?

And now the previously unconfirmed memos of disgraced former Deputy Director of the FBI are about to be under subpoena. I bet he's already regretting trying to leak his memos to get RR fired. Wait until we see who authorized the bugging of the White House!
