1. Okay. I've been kicking this around for a couple hours and finally decided to put fingers to keyboard and excite some electrons.

These are my thoughts on the entire Kavanaugh vs Ford stupidity.
2. First, I've said several times in the last week I thought @ChuckGrassley and the @senjudiciary were handling things perfectly that is up until 10:00pm last night. At that point for me things started to change. It's a matter of patience. Mine is running on fumes.
3. At this point, I think the Gop are at a stage of diminishing returns with their base. Sure, Kavanaugh will probably be confirmed. I'll give it a 99.9% chance now and most likely when it happens everyone on the right will be okay with it all.
4. However, a quick trip around twitter and other social media will show that three main camps are forming on the GOP side and where you fall in the three camps comes down to your level of patience.
5. Side A wanted Kavanaugh confirmed last week. This group has zero patience remaining for any of the lefts actions. They have had enough of the resistance bullcrap, the endless riots/protests, the lawfare tactics, the palace coup etc. This side is big and growing bigger.
6. Side B wants the same but understands it might need more time for it to happen. They are sening progress. They have more patience than side A and are more willing to let the plans ripen. This side is also growing bigger.
7 Side C is like side B except along with more patience they have some faith. This side is shrinking imo

8. I circle around all three sides but mostly hang out with side B and side C

9. I understand Side A but think of the change needed more of a marathon than a Sprint.
10. I think the GOP in DC doesn't understand any of this on a fundamental level. They don't have as much leeway as they did before with their voters. The base is running out of patience no matter which side you are in. Not just on this issue but on many.
11. From a midterm standpoint it is imperative IMO that the DC GOP should not test the patience level of their base if they want a high turnout.

12. Many on the right are just tired of the crap, the games, the narratives. That is why they elected Trump.
13. They want an end to the chaos and a return to regular order. This is one of the main drivers for a secure border, a more orderly world, a more secure economy.
14. The left and the GOP establishment for the last several decades with their policies and actions have torn apart cultures, religions, families, borders, bonds in the name of some greater good. No society can function for long underneath that stress.
15. The desire for a return of law and order, an agreed upon set of rules for everyone is growing within the society and with that growth of desire a corresponding decrease of patience is being seen. Those that desire it the most have the least patience.
16. This explains why so many are finding the drama of the senate over the last week so disgusting and why many are no longer okay with just sitting back and having patience with it.
17. I really believe that the politicians need to understand this. They need to factor this into their thinking. Time frames that were okay 6 years ago aren't now. Action not words or fake narratives are being demanded. They need to step up and do the job they were elected to do.
18. If that requires them to work longer and harder so be it. If it requires them to do things that the media will call them bad names for so be it. If it requires them to change their thinking on some things so be it.
19. The patience is running out for many and it never ends well for anyone when an entire society/group runs out of patience.
