But I also keep reading tweets from people who can’t bring themselves to read my book.
I get it. I do.
What we went through (and still happening) was painful. Who wants to relive it?
But I wouldn’t have written the book if I didn’t think it had more to offer than pain.

I had hoped Clinton supporters would appreciate having the history we know to be true researched, documented, and put on the page. I’d hope it would make people feel less crazy, less alone, would give support and ammunition to our fight.
I hope those of you who worry about being re-traumatized by the book will give it a chance to do what I wrote it for—not to cause pain but to affirm truth and represent history for us. Yes, you’ll probably get angry. But you’re already angry, aren’t you?
