one day after I bought this new Android phone it decided to start telling me that WiFi calling is enabled. I don't care, but I ignored it. it was a persistent notification. I literally couldn't remove it but I didn't feel like dealing with it
a day of this passed without incident, then it spontaneously declared that I can't make WiFi calls without an E911 address. apparently this was permitted for about 16 hours, but not anymore
since that was persistent as well, and irritating, I tapped it and was taken to a screen where I could select WiFi or cellular calls. I did, and now I have this persistent notification 
this is a $400 phone that is absolutely unmodified and only just 24 hours old. this is android. the platform is incapable of anything like adult behavior. yes I know Motorola made this behavior, and I couldn't care less which of the chain of shitheads is responsible
