the only reason to deny the scientific evidence of climate change is to protect the outrageous paychecks that the CEO's of polluting companies make. there is really no other reason. a small ding to the pockets of the uber-wealthy is the one "downside" of protecting the planet.
I understand why billionaires fight climate change. They need all the money they can get their hands on to build themselves protected places to live after they've destroyed the world and killed the rest of us. But if you're not a billionaire, what exactly are you fighting for?
