Going by the comments of Obasanjo in Abeokuta today, he still maintains his position that Atiku wronged the country, reason why he said "God will never forgive me if I support Atiku." Supporting Atiku therefore doesn't mean the ex-vp still not what he used to be... 1
It only means Obasanjo has become more comfortable with Atiku seeing that he will have access to the natins's resources more with an Atiku presidency than a Buhari presidency, especially considering how Buhari has denied him access to the same resources.
So if Obasanjo's who had said he will never support Atiku for so many ills he committed against the country has now chosen to forgive him, he has only done so on personal basis. The signs of Atiku against Nigeria which Obasanjo used as one of his basis still remains.
So if Atiku wants the forgiveness of Nigerians for his sins as put forward by Obasanjo, he should also tell and apologise to Nigerians the same way he did to Obasanjo before he was forgiven
For the record. This is what Obj said about Atiku today. Should Atiku be apologising to Obasanjo or Nigerians?

“As I have repeatedly said, it is not so much what you did against me that was the issue but what you did against the Party, the Government and the country” - Obasanjo
Btw Nigerians and obj, Who should forgive Atiku?

”I took d stand I had taken based on d character and attributes u exhibited in the position u found urself. I strongly believe that I was right. It was in d overall interest of everyone n everything to take such a position”~ Obj
Having said that, Obasanjo or not, I am strongly of the opinion that we have passed that stage where a few so called elders will decide how Nigeria should be run. 2019 will be the final nail on that coffin, God willing
