Some part of the problem we face is our lack of vocabulary when we discuss the fear-mongering, extremism and violence on the right. Nazis, fascists, white-supremacists all carry specific meanings and the groups & individuals we now want to describe do not always strictly adhere
"Alt-right" is a word that strikes me as too weak to convey the deep level of hate they embody. "Piece of shit assholes" as I'd like to call them, doesn't demonstrate the ways in which they're organized and acting together. We need some new words. Thoughts?
So far the general consensus seems to be "just call them nazis" with a secondary nod to "just call them fascists." I have hesitations but maybe that's right. I'm going to keep thinking and appreciate the input and maybe (probably not but maybe) I'll write on this eventually.
