As we near the most important elections our country has ever held I am still amazed how msm continues to not only get easily distracted but also promote the negative Trump environment which leads to normalization. It’s like they haven’t learned from the past election.
I have tried to figure out for a long time how Republicans were able to turn their base into Putin loyalists and one day it hit me. We have some of the best journalists but what our media lacks is providing exposure to international events.
They seem to have a daily talking point and replay it all day and sometimes for days. Had Americans been exposed to the dangers that Putin poses for at least the past decade in many countries then Republicans wouldn’t be able to spin that Dems created the Russia hoax
Putin has interfered in so many countries (at least 30) that Americans would have been able to recognize the signs had media given them normal exposure. Americans would have recognized the signs of Authoritarian regimes had there been more coverage of daily events.
The same playbook is being used and the signs are easily recognizable. And it doesn’t only apply to Putin but to many dictatorships. Putin just happens to be one of the most dangerous threats to the West and directly attacked and is still attacking our country
The Republicans have painted Russian interference as a made up thing by Dems yet I have never heard media mention Putin’s interference in Latvia, Catalonia, France, Germany, Brazil and these are just some examples after our 2016 election. Did Dems create those situation too?
So stop with the Trump rallies coverage and the Lyin Ted Cruz crap because we are on the brink of not only having our Democracy but having the dynamics of the world that we know change forever. Right now dictatorships are rising and Democracy is hanging by a thread.
We need a strong Democratic America to keep the evil powers at bay and restore sanity in this world. Media needs to at least do 10 min slots on their shows of reporting world events and not Trump rallies. Also the dangers of Authoritarian regimes and how to recognize the signs
As far as Trump and his criminal cronies the only thing media should be doing is exposing their criminalities and policies surrounding enriching their loyalists pockets. That’s it! Not spending time analyzing his tweets nor giving oxygen to his vile white supremacists
