For everyone who is saying how awful this is - we can all do something to help lessen hate.
Every day do one more thing to be sensitive and empathetic to people who are different to you. It’s that simple.

I’m not going to say anything about UK politics tonight as I don’t think now’s the time. But perhaps we all should think, amongst their anger at what happened in the US, about how we are treating each other at the moment and what kind of country we want to be
I hear the shooter may have been motivated by anger that the Tree of Life synagogue had a programme helping refugees. I am proud to say that my own synagogue has a programme helping destitute asylum seekers where I will be volunteering next week as I do regularly. #Moreincommon
Aside from a few idiots (and there are always a few idiots) people have been amazingly sensitive and showed real solidarity, across politics and religious communities. Why do the extremists have to ruin it for the rest of us? Let’s not let them! #MoreinCommon
