#MasksRPG #rpgcap #thread for PS238. We have Aiden the brain, Echo the Beacon, and me as Yesi the Nova! We find out that some government people are coming to judge the school so we have to use our hero names and be on our best behavior.

We run into the gov'ment peeps and Aiden really really wanrts to ask them a question, but the principal says no and asks Yesi to take him to class. She picks him up easily and walks away.
Aiden: No! I need to ask them something!

Yesi & Echo: What do you need to ask them?
Aiden: I'm not telling you.
Yesi & Echo: Tell us.
Aiden: No.
Y&E: Tell us.
Aiden: No.
Yesi & Echo & Abby & Ironwing: Tell us!
Aiden: I wanted to ask if they know where my mom is...

Yesi is now determined to help Aiden talk to the gov people. Echo tries to get them out of gym class by making a fake announcement on the intercom, but it does not work.
Yesi: Echo, I need you to hurt me so I have to go to the nurse. It's for Aiden.
Echo: ...okay.

Echo hits Yesi with a sonic blast. I roll an 11 on take a powerful blow. Yesi passes out and needs to go to the nurse, like, ASAP.
Echo: I should have had her sign a waiver or something...

Ivan: I'll take her.
Aiden: No! I'm taking her.
The boys start fighting over who takes her to the nurse.
Yesi: (not really but you get the point.)

Finally, Aiden takes her to the nurse's office, but this is PS238 so it's actually a doctor with healing powers because supers.
Dr: Aiden, what happened?
Aiden: I don't know.
Dr: Aiden, I need to know what happened to her so I can help make her better.
Aiden:

Me: Just not gonna tell the doctor even though you're already out of class and it'll help Yesi be treated? Okay. Cool. Yesi will have fun with her concussion. Awesome.

Aiden finds the gov people & his dad asks where his mom is.
Gov ppl: Idk.
Aiden: You have to know.
Aiden's dad: They don't know. They're trying to find her too.
Aiden: Why?
AD: B/c she's a villain.
Aiden: ...No, she's not.

Aiden is in deep deeeeeep denial that his mom stole tech from him & his dad, abandoned him, is missing, and apparently evil. It's a real rough time, everyone. Aiden goes home early and his dad gets him some ice cream.

Yesi wakes up! She's mostly ok. The doc is running tests. She knows the day of the week & her favorite food & whatever so she's probably ok. She was a bull & is a nova, so she's pretty tough, though that does just make the fact that she actually got knocked out even more serious.

Echo gets interviewed by the gov person Ms. White & Ms. Kyle.
Ms. White: How's school here?
Echo: Pretty cool. We fight a lot of bad guys.
Ms. White: Off campus?
Echo: Yeah, except for that time with the rat monster. That was in school.
Ms. White: Oh, a security breach?
Ms. Kyle:

Yesi gets cleared & interviewed next.
Ms. White: How you get along w/ the kids here?
Yesi: Oh! I have a bunch of friends like Echo and Might Man and Robokid. I really like Robokid. We both love ice cream. Then there's Barnstormer. We held hands once. Then there's Kid Stupendous-

Yesi & Echo meet up.
Echo: Hey, I'm sorry I hurt you that bad. I didn't mean to.
Yesi: It's okay. I'm fine & I asked you to. Did you get interviewed? I got interviewed. They asked me about my friends and stuff- (she goes on for a bit.
Echo: Maybe you should go back to the nurse.

Echo: Hey, where's Aiden?
Yesi texts him & finds out he went home early.
Yesi: Are you okay?
Aiden: 👍
Echo's player: Does Aiden usually use emojis?
Aiden's player: No.
Echo: We should go check on him...
Jackie, appearing out of nowhere: I know where he lives...

Also super importnt, but I couldn't find a good spot to fit it: ECHO AND ABBY ARE DATING! THEY HELD HANDS AND EVERYTHING! IT'S SUPER CUTE!

I forgot to mention that while Yesi was being interviewed, the Green Man was talking to her about how her body is going through changes (b/c she switched from Bull to Nova &, ya know, puberty is coming up in a few years). Ms. White is talking, but she can only hear the Green Man.

Green Man: Flowers may grow where you step & your connection to the animal kingdom will get strong as well. You may be able to talk w/ animals.
Yesi: That's awesome!
Ms. White: I'm surprised to hear you say that. There's a program...
Ms. Kyle: You're not recruiting a child.
