1) Assuming this is true, and figuring the migrant caravan will play a big role in the next week even if this specific bit isn't:

2) It is called the Trump Time Dilation effect.

Rewind back to October 7, 2016. The Access Hollywood tape is revealed 2 days before Trump's second debate with Clinton. It had an entire month to gestate, an entire month for the MSM to hyperventilate over it.
3) Trump still won.
4) The media is taking the best advantage they can of the #vanidiot and #noname (h/t @ScottAdamsSays), but this is where Trump Time Dilation takes effect.

They can't focus on any specific news story for more than 2 days now. That's how fast they have to move to KEEP UP.
5) This resulting switching between so many narratives so quickly dilutes the impact of any individual narratives, and leaves no time for anyone on the left to craft something resembling a cohesive presentation of reality.
6) No one's going to remember #vanidiot, and people have already stopped talking about him in most instances. No one's going to remember #noname, and the MSM has tied itself in a pretzel connecting one of the most pro-Israel Presidents ever with an antisemite who hated his guts.
7) And better yet? Trump is already calling for the death penalty for those two. Jarring for people who see the two as being on the same side as Trump. Almost a little bit crazy. Meanwhile, what's the left doing?

Screaming and protesting during a moment of silence. ... Oh.
8) We're going to win because we have one job. Just keep on keeping on. We can change nothing and still win.

The Dems had ONE JOB. Don't be crazy.

And now they're screaming that Trump is Hitler right after they spent 2 weeks eulogizing a PR guy for fucking HAMAS.
9) That was two weeks ago. Did you know that? Two weeks ago that news broke. And now its already in the dustbin.

Trump Time Dilation. Just sit back with your 3d glasses and watch the show.

1) OH NOOOO. One of the members of Iran's cyber propaganda group got annoyed and blocked me when I pointed out that @HeshmatAlavi was right to call her out as a propagandist for the Mullahs.
2) I confirmed with Heshmat first, of course, who's spent the over a decade (all the way through Obama and the Mullah's love affair) tracking and exposing these jackasses, who still feign innocence even as they try to provide PR cover for the Mullahs
3) See, it goes back to the old rule. Liberals accuse you of what they themselves are guilty of. In this case, they've spent 2 years accusing Trump and conservatives of having a cyber army of Russian trolls supporting and promoting him.

This tweet by Stanford professor Mark Jacobson caught my eye because the first part is obviously nonsense. Solar PV is great, but it will do very little to reduce our *heating* bills. When heating demand is high, solar PV output is low at our high latitudes.
In these complicated times, I think it’s essential that experts are very precise in their communication. The energy transition is complex, and many are confusing the debate already.
But Jacobson denied that (the first part of) his tweet was misleading, using the fact that he just copied the title of an artice as an excuse.

The Indian Cricket team has embarked on its 18th "test" tour of England this summer and will play in a 5 test series in Aug/Sep

The first tour was in 1932 and the last was in 2014

In the intervening decades India has played 57 tests in Eng, winning 6, losing 30 and drawing 21!
What's remarkable there is the figure of 57. It is a massive figure given that India has only played in 522 tests in its entire history. So well over 10% of our test matches have been played in England against England.
During this period England has toured India 15 times for a test series. On home soil we have hosted England in 60 tests, winning 19, losing 13 and drawing 28.

So not surprisingly a distinctly better home record.

back in 2013 i developed a comprehensive green tech programme proposal for rail infrastructure, targeted to improve the country existing LRT network. the proposal eventually led me having to deal with a group of individuals nicknamed the lanun of MOF..
after having spent 13yrs living abroad in aus, i finally returned home in msia in june of 2009. main reason for returning? my late mother was diagnosed with cervical cancer in jan and as the eldest son, it was the right thing to do to return home and spend as much time with her..
i was glad to make that decision. she passed on in aug 2009, a few days short of her 55th b'day.

returning home after 13yrs living abroad meant, i had to start fresh. i left for aus in 96 as a 19yo teenager, and i came home as a 33yo man...
