We’re beginning to test out one of the most significant changes we’ve ever made at Lambda School to help students land jobs faster.

Traditionally Lambda School looks like this:

Full-stack web -> computer science -> labs (project) -> job search -> hired
The biggest constraint our students run into is financial. That’s just a long time to support yourself.

You still need a portfolio to start searching for a job. The new schedule looks like this:

Allowing employers to make grad-contingency-based hires any time after week 20
Now by the time a student hits the graduation date they’ve already been on the job market for ~10 weeks.

That also happens to be the point in the job hunt by which most of our grads are hired.
We hope to move toward a world where most students are hired *by graduation* and can transition seamlessly to a new job.

Employers, if you want to start meeting students as early as week 20, email hiringpartners@lambdaschool.com and you can hire the best students early
