ABP hypes "50% memory use reduction".

Let's see. Two small tests follow, using Chromium 70 32-bit (no access to a 64-bit OS for the time being).

ABP 3.4: EasyList/EasyPrivacy/AA disabled
uBO 1.17.3b4: default
Memory usage of extension itself...
- Top pic: after launch + idle for 1 min
- Bottom pic: after visiting 5 top Hacker News links + closing visited tabs + idle for 1 min

ABP + page: 228 MB (EasyList/Privacy/AA disabled)
uBO + page: 147 MB (default)
Expect bigger figures and bigger difference with 64-bit OS & browsers.

ABP 3.4 *still* injects over 18K CSS rules in all pages/frames (more if using Fanboy Social, regional lists, etc.) -- this is still true:

Seriously: Do NOT use similar-purposed blocker(s) along with uBlock Origin: this will cripple uBO's ability to defuse anti-blocker mechanisms and its ability to minimize likelihood of site breakage. ("similar-purposed" = any other blocker making use of EasyList).
Pic shows filters which can be broken by other similar-purposed blockers. This on top of wasting CPU/memory resources: uBO already enforces EasyList. Also, Adblock Plus/AdBlock still suffer from extremetech.com/computing/1824… (possibly worst now, filter lists have grown since then)
Quick example of negative interference from using Adblock Plus along uBlock Origin.

uBO: default settings
ABP: check "Block additional tracking", uncheck "Allow Acceptable Ads"

Result: a 4-sec delay at page load time. No such delay with only uBO.

Time for a controversial opinion…about @laravelphp…facades.
Let’s think about the kind of technical debt that opponents to this idea/framework like to talk about. Facades, they say, make it difficult to know what dependencies a class has/needs; and when/where/how it is used.
The Laravel facades act like singletons (which means you initially access them through static methods). They resolve an instance of something through the IoC container. Ok, everyone who cares knows this.

Excellence is dependent on other people, like judges, examiners, teachers, assessors, inspectors, auditors. But we can't control these people and whether they think we're excellent or not.

#b 'Teknik menjawab' is not a series of rituals that you carry out to secure an A in the exam. You don't get guaranteed an A just through superficial actions like highlighting keywords or drawing meniscus or inserting isi tersirat.
The problem is students and teachers treat teknik menjawab as some sort of pseudo magical ritualistic gestures that will bring a certain outcome. Draw a pentagram, slaughter a chicken, and your wish will be granted.
Some remote Pacific Islanders in 1940s came in contact with Allied and Japanese soldiers who were more technologically advanced and thought the soldiers were gods who had many "cargo" (canned food, electronics, modern stuff)
