1/ On political funding and campaigns. 
2/ when we have met MPs and Peers during our campaign, they seem to be under the impression that we have bags of cash lying around, that we can just hire teams of researchers, activists etc.
3/ in fairness, why shouldn't they expect this you could ask, since MPs are *used* to interacting with slick, well funded think tanks and lobbyists.
4/ there is a paradox here based around success - if a campaign group is high profile and successful it will attract lots of MPs and celebrity endorsements, be able to afford offices in central London etc. But in order to become successful it needs at least some of those things!
5/ we would love to have a campaign office in the capital, paid staff, a campaign Bus, ads in the national press etc. But we don't get funding from trade unions, from government or from big business.
