Building off my two threads about profit taking + positioning based on themes: $QKC is now all the way back down at original entry level from last trade.

One of the coins I'm buying back as money chases large caps.

There are plenty of setups like it...

$QKC climbing another 10% closer to first target - top 3 binance gainers again.

Nice sign for other coins that are 1 step behind in this pattern, expecting most of those retests to be successful.

The $BTC buy was yesterday. Now that we're up this high I'm not interested in buying again until a dip to mid-range or close above the current resistance.

Move slow - market isn't going anywhere and there will always be another setup.
I look at two ways to play every move higher:

1/ Confirmed close above a resistance I'm watching (breakout)
2/ Waiting for pullback/retest to broken resistance turned support

1/ A big part of trading alts is positioning for themes/cycles. Some examples:

- large cap vs mid vs small
- event driven > coinbase adds
- psychological > low sat coins or sector or exchange specific

In this thread I'll explain my approach to positioning for market cap themes.
2/ You have probably noticed that for the last 5 days large cap alts have been stealing most of the attention, volume and gains.

Coins like $XRP and $BCH doing the best. $ADA and others are close behind.

3/ Typically when alts start moving up it follows a pattern.

Large caps first > Mid caps > Small caps.

It could be due to money/liquidity flowing to easiest to access coins first. It could be due to risk tolerance increasing or search for more yield. Probably a combo of both.

1/ Alts have been moving higher for over a month now vs Bitcoin

The majority of charts shared on twitter are setups, entries, or patterns. Exits and selling after original update are rarely discussed outside of "boom this moved 'x' %"

Should you take profit, or hodl for 2x?
2/ The comments when I posted that alts have been going up for 30 days were mostly disbelief, yet it's verifiable.

You can use the altcoin index to see it, or look at 90% of alt charts.

3/ This has happened once before in the bear market: Second week of March to May there was a nice swing up. The pops on alts after that have been short lived, none longer than 2 weeks...until now.

People with severe narcissistic personality disorder like Trump are driven solely by the shallowest of primitive impulses.

They are incapable of complex reasoning.

They are emotional cavemen.

There entire world is an endless, futile effort to avoid facing the humiliating shame their own failings deserve.

Their lives are empty, contrived caricatures of what they think others will approve of and admire.

They’re broken child-actors.

If you have followed me on Twitter for a while, you probably know that one of my recurring themes is that there is no core group of “good” Republicans who are eventually going to have a “moment of conscience” and work together with Democrats for the good of the country. (1/)
This has occasionally brought me into conflict with moderates and even some progressives, some of whom continue to cling to the notion that we must continue trying to pressure or persuade Republicans to change their ways. (2/)

Watching the chaos that is JFK airport on Snapchat and @flightradar24. Cannot believe it’s allowed to operate like this and hasn’t been shut down with all inbounds diverted.
The most insane part of the JFK madness right now is that it has been going on for DAYS. Seeing some jokes about airlines turning round over the Atlantic, but no joke, that’s a better option right now.
Meanwhile, there are two Aeroflot flights with the same flight number on the ground at JFK. I can’t even.
