Criterion Collection plans to offer service for $10.99 a month or $100 a year with a free 30-day trial. Specifying price before you know COGS and customer acquisition cost is a problem often seen on Kickstarter. FilmStruck was closed for a reason.

But some businesses just do the losing money part. A critical skill is knowing the difference between the two types.
Customer-based corporate valuation (CBCV) = valuing a business on a "bottoms up" basis by valuing the customers. In a subscription business especially, this is an essential process if you want to understand if real value is being created despite a lack of current GAAP earnings.
"CBCV isn’t about being profitable from day one. It’s about variable profitability in net present value terms (while still being mindful of fixed cost overhead of course!)" Determining whether a specific business is a delicious cheesecake or a turd requires detective work.

2. Become more up to date on bills and policies that affect disabled people. Things like straw bans, changes to incarceration, police procedures, #ShutDown, and social policies disproportionately affect disabled people.

On Oct 26 2006 Congress passed The Secure Fence Act 120 STAT. 2638 PUBLIC LAW 109–367 with 283 votes in the House & 80 in the Senate, including unanimous Democratic support. This included $20 billion in funding for multi layer fencing along about 600 miles of the US-Mexico border
This wasn't a solid 600 miles of continuous fencing along the border, this was bits and pieces, mostly erected with surplus Marston Mats used by the Military to laydown in areas that the ground isn't solid enough to handle landing gear, the military has mountains of it.
in 2007 Congress made clear it didn't really mean what it said. The new law was amended to make fence building optional. so you ended up with very little fencing and $20 billion pretty much unaccounted for, dispersed to heavens knows where. No one was held accountable for the $$

A reminder: What did Trump do to cover up Flynn when he was first exposed? He pushed out the first Muslim travel ban. The #Shutdown is a smoke screen to cover treason in Syria and for what he knows Mueller is about to drop. Ignore the shutdown. Don't feed trolls. @NancyPelosi
After I wrote this post I pondered it. Remember, Putin knows what Trump did with Russia. He knows what @SenateGOP @HouseGOP did too.
I watch the dockets by legally going on Pacer. Putin's SVR is engaged in signals intelligence in DC and likely knows how close Mueller is.
So Putin tells Trump he needs a crisis. Trump then decides two is better than one so he pulls a shutdown & the deal to save ISIS. Knows it will cause chaos. Music to Putin's ears. But Mueller won't stop. If Mattis would quit over Syria, does Mueller knows how bad it is?
