The Chinese population is largely unaware of the Uighur tragedy happening in their country, having long ago given up freedom and privacy for shiny toys and capitalism, and turning China into nothing short of a digital dystopia. 4/6

The Uighurs tragedy has shown the world why China is neither ready nor morally fit to lead. By contrast, the Canadian-led effort to expose the tragedy is another courageous stand by a government which has shown itself unafraid to tackle the biggest issues of our time. /End
