Chanting slogans while trying to storm the border. This is a protest, not attempts to "migrate."
Another important point on all of this — just a 30 minute drive east and there is no wall. They're doing this for optics.
This is what it looks like on that end, at least last time I was there.

For decades, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been subverting the United States by infiltrating, undermining, and influencing its key institutions.
This topic is only recently hitting the surface. Vice President Mike Pence said on Oct. 4, "Beijing is employing a whole-of-government approach to advance its influence and benefit its interests."
He added that the CCP is working to influence U.S. elections and domestic policies, and "Today, the Chinese Communist Party is rewarding or coercing American businesses, movie studios, universities, think tanks, scholars, journalists, and local, state, and federal officials."

Opting out doesn't appear to be going well for people so far. I've seen multiple reports of long wait times on the phone and web server crashes.

The primary impetus for today’s trip, this exhibition on collecting Native American art @mfaboston Here’s some of the context before you enter the show, which is in the second floor temporary gallery space in the American wing.
Intro. text and the first object. I already have so many thoughts, questions, concerns, etc. Kudos to the museum for this kind of reflection and putting itself out there. That said, let me offer a few quick, initial reactions.
First, a meta/curatorial comment. I know it’s a tightly packed room, but as I stop to think there is nowhere for me to sit (I’m now, for the moment, on a couch in the main American art gallery just around the corner).

Some collected third-hand stories and decided that Fandom Had To Take Action Now!!! Some suggested that anyone who had enough info to act on should go to the police, instead of publishing “secret” fanzines.
Some believed the gossip *because* Breen was a long-haired weirdo. That is: long-haired weirdo = depraved = sexual deviant = pedophile = guilty of everything charged or suspected.

1)To find the crimes associated with #UraniumOne (U1) I believe we need to look to the political grafting which took place with the mines in Kazakhstan. (I’m going to call Kazakhstan “Kaz” for short in this thread.)
2) Here’s a link to my previous threads on this subject. I started looking hard into U1 just over a week ago. I’ve straightened out some facts & my theories have evolved over that time. But for reference here are the threads.
3) We know Giustra was a donor to the Clinton Foundation. We also know Clinton was in Kaz at the same time as Giustra. Did he help him get the mining deals in Kaz? I believe so.

Interesting the news angle on this earthquake is that it's hit Mexico City even though the epicenter is closer to Guatemala City. 🤔
