1. A "journalist" used to be a working-class gig. Educated but also in-touch, street smart folks. Now, most are an ignorant elitists w/ no smarts.

Take Luke Harding @guardian.

"They" aren't Luke's "source." He is their asset. He was an easy mark B/C of his work & he got played.
2. Same thing with Maggie H. at NYT. I do believe her claim "sources" concealed funding for & political nature of the dossier. She was sold that is was an intel product. She is repeatedly played by people she thinks are "sources." No Maggie, you are their asset.
3. What I mean by him being an easy mark... He wrote a book arguing 1) collusion between Trump & Putin was not only real, but 2) it stole the election.

That's just one Eg. But they know he desperately wants it to be true. So, they're going to tell him what he is dying to hear.
4. Because he's so desperate for it to be true, I wouldn't be shocked if the fact it is London never crossed his mind. You can't go anywhere in that city w/o getting caught on video, folks.

Damn sure someone going into an embassy is going to be on candid camera. Did he check?
5. In case of @CarterWPage, you think @JohnBrennan didn't know he had helped U.S. IC in the past, and that it made him a perfect mark?

Think again.

The job is to mark, entrap marks & convert them into assets to exploit! exploit! exploit! When used up, they're burned like Page.
