When a people can no longer react, they are more like zombies. Nigerians, what has happened to you all? Those supporting this @MBuhari Govt what is wrong with you? You claim life is better under Buhari’s leadership but less than 30days to Christmas and there’s no Yuletide feeling
What happened to days when December brought this joyous feeling of celebrations and kids reveled in expectations of worthy gifts from Santa Claus. What happened to such moments? How is it that such feeling is almost dead? December seems a ghost of August past
Last year, we had the worst Yuletide, all thanks to a government that gifted us fuel scarcity during a period of festivity, as usual our selective amnesia has long forgiven @MBuhari for that but is this cognitive dissonance from his followers who say life has been bettered?
If we must forgive @MBuhari and @ProfOsinbajo for making our Yuletide last year a near misery, are we to take the insult of their followers that our life has improved when reality states that we are the poverty capital of the world? Poverty notes hard, Yuletide is almost dead
Our kids are no longer excited about Father Christmas anymore because it seems everyone of them is Kwarahiokwor ridden and only give gifts that kids consider an insult, imagine my young nephew saying the only Father Christmas he wants to see is #Gandollar
Let’s all be honest and see for ourselves that the things we hold dear that made life meaningful is gradually eroding right before our eyes with this APC and Buhari Govt. In less than 4years, we have become like the animals in Animal farm who don’t know better.
Less than 30days to Christmas and the season is wrought in hunger and hope for stipends that people call salaries and this @MBuhari Govt doesn’t even deem it fit to gift them a new minimum wage to quench the thirst of living in the poverty capital of the world.
May we not be blind to the reality that is right before our eyes, may we not be like the sheep’s in animal farm bleating ‘two legs good, four legs better’, may our eyes not dim to think that what we have which is darkness has become light. A better life is all I demand.
