Hey remember when Laura Ingraham spoke at the Republican National Convention and ended her speech with a Nazi salute and then continued to work for Fox News in the guise of a journalist because I do.
Here we go:
The Ingraham Angle appears to be about 45 degrees.
Let me humbly submit that Laura Ingraham would do well to find herself a little less enamored than she apparently is of certain things from the past.

Also maybe a voice coach could help her sound less like she’s on her third drink.

It’s an indication of how successful the radical oligarchist movement has been at reframing the public discourse, that something as common-sense as a 70% marginal rate for the highest brackets is considered a radical outlier.
Radical oligarchists have so taken over public discourse that people whose entire ethos and mission is consolidating over half the world's wealth in the hands of a few thousand call themselves "conservative" and nobody says anything.

And remember when Trump called on Russia to hack Hillary Clinton's emails? You know what else he said during the same press conference? That he'd look into recognizing the occupied territory of Crimea as belonging to Russia, not Ukraine.

Now is a good time to remember that.
This language that Manafort lobbied to have removed from the GOP platform ahead of the 2016 Republican National Convention also called for greater coordination with NATO to constrain Russian aggression. (Ukraine is not part of NATO).

1/ We'll start with a First Amendment primer.

The First Amendment begins with: “Congress shall make no law . . .”
So literally the First Amendment applies only to Congress, but SCOTUS has held that the First Amendment applies to any government action.

2/ The rationale: The Founding Fathers, afraid someone would make himself king, wanted protection from government tyranny.

So when a social media platform creates rules of usage, they’re not violating someone’s free speech because a social media platform is not the government.

3/ He'd rant about made up threats like welfare queens riding around in cadillacs, radical hippie liberals, foreigners & feminazies, specifically programming them to hate because that's how they could be persuaded to keep voting for economic policies that are terrible for them.

It's getting new attention now, but this feed has always treated August 17, 2016 as a sacrosanct date in the Trump-Russia timeline because it establishes the latest day on which, legally speaking, Trump was responsible for knowing that Russia was a hostile actor in the election.
2/ Media will soon give significant new scrutiny to the extraordinary (and secret) meeting Sessions had with Russia's ambassador on September 8, 2016, during which we know sanctions were discussed. That meeting, given its date, is, if Trump knew of it, evidence of a conspiracy.
3/ After he'd perjured himself about whether the meeting occurred, Sessions tried to explain it away by saying it was a routine meeting that was part of his role on the Senate Armed Services Committee. But *no other senator on the committee* met with Russia's ambassador in 2016.
